JRN 420-Studio Test Photo Thoughts

These two shots are my first attempt at taking studio photos. It's more complicated than I thought it was going to be. I realized you have to pay close attention to you subject in relationship to your lights. I also learned you need to have a vision before you go into the studio so you are well prepared to take the best shots you can. I found you need to be able to think on your feet and come up with creative poses quickly.

  1. These pictures are unique in that they are dark, but maybe that's the personality that you were aiming for? I like the differences in light that the instrument catches.
